Super happy with how the trip turned out, lots of good feedback about the new bus as well. Thank you for being flexible with the route change and many stops along the way out. It’s always a pleasure working with you on this trip!
We had the BEST TIME! Would recommend this trip to ANYONE! And tell younger folks who are skeptical that there are amazing pokemons at the dinosaur museum!
We loved the whole day! The tour of the Atlas Coal Mine was my favourite but my 15 year old daughter loved the Tyrell Museum. The whole day was very interactive and interesting. Norm was our guide for the entire day. He was friendly and full of knowledge. On the drive from Calgary to Drumheller, he gave us lots of facts of the city as well as the history of the area and the rock formations. My 13 year old son was able to get his energy out at our stops along the way and we were able to take a lot of great pictures. I would definitely recommend this company and tour. I am really glad we did it. We will be talking about it many years from now.
We were on your Calgary city tour this past Wednesday with Joyce. We really enjoyed and appreciated our tour. Joyce was just excellent: very knowledgeable, excellent driver, very friendly. Overall, she was very professional. For my wife and I, this experience was most enjoyable. Also thanks to the two younger ladies who were selling tickets and giving explanation about the tour the day before near the tower.
My friend and I had a wonderful and unforgettable experience at the Round the Block Tours. We did a tour around Calgary and in Drumheller so if you are a history buff this tour might be the one for you. Very friendly and accommodating hostesses, careful and kind bus drivers and especially Tony. Our favourite tour is the Drumheller tour, it’s a 3 hours drive with stops if you need a washroom and explore the near sites. We went to the Badlands (you’ll see Hoodoos which are really cool formed rocks so better have your camera with you), to the Drumheller Museum (approximately 2 hour tour in this; lots of dinosaur remains; will expand your knowledge about their history), to the underground coal mine (very cool tour; you get to wear helmets and go explore the underground coal mines and an excellent and very informative tour guide), you’ll go at the star mine suspension bridge too which was a little bit scary for us to cross but its worth it. It was a good day. We took a lot of good pictures. We made friends. We had fun and we’re up to do another tour from the Round the Block Tours in the future.
I have been living in Calgary for 14 years and accompanied a friend on the tour. What a pleasant experience! Our drivers on both tours were friendly and knowledgeable and full of interesting information about my home city that I never knew. I would highly recommend this city tour to visitors and locals
This was a wonderful tour. We realized when we got to Calgary for the day that there really wasn’t much to see and after some investigating found this tour – the only one we could find. We spend a wonderful three hours learning about the city and seeing most of it. Our driver, Michael, was wonderful. He was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us lots of historical information about the city. He suggested good place to eat which we tried and loved. So if you are going to Calgary take the City Tour.
Had a great 3 hour tour with a lady who gave very interesting and detailed commentary on City of Calgary. Unfortunately she did not identify herself, neither did I ask her. Also unfortunately I was the only tourist on the tour so she gave me an expert one-on-one guide along the way. I would highly recommend the tour to any of my friends/relatives should they be visiting Calgary in the future.
Was recently in Calgary for a short amount of time and had this tour recommended by my hotel. Definitely exceeded my expectations – the tour guide, Annette, was very impressive in her knowledge of Calgary. For only being there for a short time, felt like I walked away with a much better appreciation of a great city. Whether you are there for a day, a week, or month, etc. I definitely recommend that you take advantage of this tour!
Didn’t Suck: Hey it’s a city tour and they show you what there is to see. Calgary is a pleasant little city. Take the tour.
